I have been a loyal client of Beauty Antix for more than 5 years, and an employee for over a year. I never thought my journey in my 30's would be me working in the beauty industry. Coming from a background of no knowledge in the beauty world, I was surprised when Amber asked me if I was interested in a position at Beauty Antix as a Retail Manager and Administrator. After detailed and professional conversations, I made the decision to hand in my notice at my previous employment and start with Amber in December 2023.
My first day was exciting, interesting and fun! There have also been mind blowing and challenging days. I look at all days as great ones - whether good or bad, as no matter the outcome I have been able to end the day learning something new, putting a smile on someone's face and knowing I had done the best to my ability.
Since working at Beauty Antix, I have been learning about products and services we have available, our systems and structures and helping to integrate new things into the business. My experiences and opportunities so far working with Amber and the team has been amazing and very knowledgeable. I have had the privilege to meet some fantastic people, travel to further my training and have access to online training to build my retail and product knowledge. Overall, this has helped arm me with the confidence and tools I need to become the best employee I can become. With the journey ahead of me, I know I have the support that will get me through. I am very grateful for Amber and the team for standing by me and investing their time to help me grow in the beauty industry.
